What is AlphaStamp?
AlphaStamp is a web app for supporters who want a permanent record that they backed a creator before that creator became widely known. A supporter signs in with X and mints a Stamp containing who they support, their own photo, the date and time, and the creator's popularity at that moment. Each imprint is recorded through OpenTimestamps as a hash tied to the imprint time, creator account name, and supporter username.
Why AlphaStamp works
Early support becomes hard to prove once a creator is already popular. AlphaStamp fixes that by recording the supporter, creator, time, photo, and popularity at the moment of minting, then timestamping a hash through OpenTimestamps. It turns an after the fact claim into a dated record instead of a memory.
AlphaStamp features
- Dated support record. Each Stamp records the creator, the supporter's photo, the date and time of support, and the creator's popularity at that moment.
- Blockchain timestamping. Each imprint is recorded through OpenTimestamps as a hash of the imprint time, creator account name, and supporter username.
- Supporter ranks. Gold rank and above cannot be purchased with money. Unlock rules can weigh earlier stamps and how early they were made.
- Creator identity cleanup. Creator identities are deduplicated programmatically, with community feedback used to correct cases the program does not resolve.
- X sign in. Accounts use X OAuth only. Email and password registration and other sign in providers are not offered.
Who AlphaStamp is for
- Fans who want a dated record showing they supported a creator before that creator became widely known.
- Supporters who care about recognition based on how early they stamped rather than simply buying a higher rank.
- X users who want a collectible support record tied to a creator account and preserved with a timestamped hash.
